Celebrate Pride and Represent Myers Park Covenant Church
Join us at the 5th Annual Union County Pride Festival as we celebrate love, inclusion, and community! This milestone event will bring people from across the region together for a day of vendors, community organizations, entertainment, and connection in a vibrant indoor setting.
Myers Park Covenant Church will have a booth at the festival, and we'd love for you to stop by, say hello, and help us extend a warm welcome to festival attendees. Volunteers are needed to serve in shifts throughout the day, sharing information about our church, distributing free swag, and helping festivalgoers experience the hospitality and affirmation that are at the heart of who we are.
Whether you can volunteer for a shift or simply attend the festival, your presence matters. Join us as we celebrate diversity, build relationships, and demonstrate God's inclusive love in our community.
Volunteer Opportunities Include: Greeting festival attendeesDistributing church swag and informationSharing about Myers Park Covenant Church's ministries and valuesOffering a friendly and welcoming presence at our booth
The event is inside this year, so the weather won't interfere with the fun. Join us at El Tapatio Salon, 209 E Myers Street, Monroe, NC 28110 Bring your friends, family, and your spirit of welcome. Youth Fellowship
The Youth Journey
Exploring Life, Faith, and Purpose Together
The Journey Begins Here!
When | Sundays Time | Fellowship 4:00 - 6:00 pmWhere | Youth HallLeader | Rev. Dane Jordan
This year, our youth ministry is launching a new discipleship experience designed to help students connect the stories of the Bible with the realities of everyday life. On Sunday mornings, students will explore the grand narrative of Scripture through engaging storytelling, interactive activities, and thoughtful questions that invite curiosity and faith.
On Sunday evenings, we’ll gather for conversation around topics that matter most to young people—friendships, identity, justice, doubt, service, and more—discovering together how God’s story continues to shape our own. We invite all youth to join us as we grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and learn to live out Christ’s love in our world.
Come as you are, bring a friend, and be part of a welcoming community that grows together in faith and friendship.
